On 7th March a Debate competition was arranged among the students of the Communicative Skills in English Program at Bidhannagar College, Saltlake. Four Judges Ms Urmi Palchoudhury, Mr. Gautam Sengupta, Ms Rituparna Khan, and Ms.Tina Barma graced the occasion. Educator Alkananda Moulik, Dr Srimanta Das, Ms. and Ayanti Mondal from the English Department were also present. The topic selected is “Indian Parenting is better than Western Parenting. Saranya Sarkar was adjudged as the best speaker. Other participants are Nazma Parween. Ananya Debnath, Pritha Sarkar,Saheli Das, Sanat Biswas, Moinuddin Ansari, and Debayan Chakraborty
